Farm Offers Insight to Family Running Non-Profit
(Eagle Observer – June 2024)
In June of 2024, we had our very first piece of media coverage — and honestly, it caught us a little off guard in the best way. The Eagle Observer reached out and wrote an article called “Farm Offers Insight to Family Running Non-Profit.” It was the first time someone outside our circle tried to put into words what WeeShire Mains is becoming.
They shared about our family, why we’re building this crazy little sensory farm in Kimball, and the heart behind creating a space where neurodivergent folks and families can feel understood, grounded, and welcome.
It’s wild to look back and realize that this article documented the very beginning — before the barn was finished, before the programs were official, before the donkeys got comfortable enough to trust us, and before half the people in town knew what we were up to.

I’m adding it here as our first official “In the News” post, because it’s part of our story — and I want people to be able to look back someday and see where this all started.
